Wayne Cravens
Wayne is the Lead Advisor and President of Cravens & Company Advisors and brings nearly four decades of experience in the investment and financial services industry. He founded Cravens & Co. Inc. in 1996 and later co-founded Cravens & Company Advisors LLC in 2003 alongside an attorney and a CPA®, establishing the firm as an independent, client-focused advisory practice.
Wayne began his career with Prudential in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1987 and went on to open a Prudential branch office in Chattanooga in 1989. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on long-term client relationships, disciplined investment management, and comprehensive financial planning.
Wayne holds multiple securities registrations, including Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and Series 6 (Investment Company Representative), as well as life and health insurance licenses.
He is deeply involved in community and higher-education leadership. Wayne is past Chairman of the Board and current Vice Chair of Economic Development for the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, is the founder of the Golden Eagle Collective at Tennessee Tech University, is a member of the Highlands Economic Partnership Steering Committee and is a former Chairman and ongoing supporter of the Tennessee Tech College of Business Board of Trustees.
Outside of the office, Wayne can often be found on the golf course, in the outdoors hunting, or cheering on the Tennessee Tech football team on Saturdays. He also values time at home with his wife, Nicole, and their two children.
Woody Welch
Woody is a Lead Advisor and the Director of Investments at Cravens & Company Advisors, where he oversees the firm’s investment philosophy, portfolio construction, and investment recommendations. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry and plays a central role in shaping the firm’s disciplined, research-driven approach to portfolio management.
Woody began his career at UBS in 1996 and joined Cravens & Company Advisors in 2009. Since then, he has worked closely with clients and the advisory team to implement investment strategies aligned with long-term objectives, risk management, and evolving market conditions.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Alabama and holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 31 (Futures Securities), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and Series 65 (Investment Adviser Representative) registrations.
Outside of the office, Woody enjoys basketball, following the Tennessee Titans, and spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their three children.
Sandra Wilson
Sandra is the Director of Operations and Client Services at Cravens & Company Advisors and has been an integral part of the firm since 2011. She works closely with clients to support account administration, operational needs, and a wide range of client service matters, helping ensure a smooth, responsive, and high-touch client experience.
Sandra graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice. She began her professional career as a legal assistant and paralegal in Morgan County, Tennessee, where she developed a strong foundation in organization, accuracy, and client support.
Outside of the office, Sandra enjoys trips to the mountains, working on arts and crafts projects, and sharing time with her husband, Donnie.
Caleb Rouse
Caleb is an Advisor and Investment Analyst at Cravens & Company Advisors, where he supports the advisory team through investment analysis, portfolio research, financial modeling, and the preparation of comprehensive financial planning deliverables.
He joined the firm in 2023 and works closely with advisors and clients to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support informed decision-making.
Caleb graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a major in Finance and a minor in Social Sciences. He has completed the CFP Board education requirement through Boston University, holds the Series 65 (Investment Adviser Representative) license, and is currently pursuing CFP® certification.
Outside of the office, Caleb enjoys golfing, traveling, keeping up with sports, and playing chess. He and his wife, Payton, enjoy exploring new places and activities together.
Taylor Stafford
Taylor is the Executive Assistant and Operations Coordinator at Cravens & Company Advisors, where she supports daily operations, client communications, and internal coordination across the firm. She joined the team in 2025 and plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting a high-quality client experience.
Taylor earned her Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Tennessee Technological University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She brings a strong background in executive support, human resources, and office administration developed across both public and private sector environments.
Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys playing the fiddle, thrifting, exploring creative approaches to staying organized and efficient in daily life, and enjoys being involved in local community events.
